Manual Lymphatic Drainage
M.L.D. (Manual Lymphatic Drainage)is a specialized therapy that uses gentle rhythmic pumping techniques designed to improve the functioning of the lymphatic system, unlike usual massage that concentrates on the muscle, this is very light and aims to move the skin over the muscle, as this is where the lymph vessels lie, by stretching the vessels in two directions, this stimulates the contraction of the lymphatic vessels, encouraging them to absorb up to 100% more lymph, and after an hours treatment, will still operate at this level for approximately 4 hours.
