Hypnotherapy

The state of hypnosis is a very pleasant experience and is a totally natural phenomenon as well as being very relaxing. During the session you will probably find that your senses, such as hearing and memory will be greatly enhanced and you will find it quite easy to converse, when necessary with your therapist. Hypnosis is often induced purely by the use of the therapist's voice. Fantastic isn't it? A therapy that uses no drugs and is probably more effective for more problems than anything else and has no side effects.

There are different treatments using Hypnosis:

SUGGESTION THERAPY - which is used for simple problems such as smoking, nail-biting, driving test & examination nerves, fear of flying, slimming, relaxation, confidence boosting, etc. as well as boosting your sporting performance. These will usually require only one or two sessions.

ANALYTICAL THERAPY - is used to discover the CAUSES of problems (although, of course, one does sometimes mix the two therapies). Whereas suggestion therapy treats the symptoms, Hypno-analysis seeks to discover the originating cause of the problem and in so doing the problem is released along with the symptoms. Naturally this route takes a little longer but once achieved the results are permanent.

Your Consultant Hypnotherapist at CNHC, Richard Wells, is a fully qualified and experienced therapist. He has a diploma in hypnotherapy and hypno-analysis with advanced certificates in Smoking Cessation and Sports Hypnosis and is a member of The International Association of Hypno-analysts.
